Venite...the time of Waiting

This Saturday night, at 7 PM, there will be a service hosted by SaanichtonBible Fellowship (on Mt. Newton X-Rd across from the hospital). The serviceis titled "Venite: The Time of Waiting." It will be a candle-lit service ofreadings, creative reflections and carols lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes.The service is being put together by myself and members of the Poasis ArtsCollective - www.poasis.blogspot.com.


It promises to be a beautiful andreflective time - a great way to open up this hectic season of Advent.Please come if you can, and bring a friend or two. Look forward to seeingyou there. ( Matthew Davidson )


The evening will be a tapestry of Word from Isaiah, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Romans and from Luke...in which music and reflective space is weaved into. Advent is a time to fast, to hunger and thirst...for a time in which we feast upon the Living Word made flesh. Come and still yourself with us as we listen for that voice that crys from the wilderness.
